7 months, 2nd week
Thailand, Bangkok, Chaing Mai District

samuel.montague@myldsmail.net (I would love to hear from you)

Wow what a wild week. Christmas was still exciting although this is the first time celebrating it without my family which made me a little homesick.  Our district got together and did a secret Santa and then we ate traditional South African soup.

We had prepared for English class an interactive Nativity and it would have been excellent, except NO ONE showed up. That's always so frustrating :(

This week has been characterized by us going through our investigators and evaluating what further efforts we needed to do or looking at passing them to a different set of missionaries to see if they might have a better connection.  Which makes me slightly sad, as it shrunk our teaching pool. But we experienced some small miracles on those whom we taught and we now have some solid looking FAMILIES (the best to teach and the best to baptize).

Surprise- I was back in Bangkok! My new companion had to get his visa renewed so down we went.
The phones we just recently received have been nice to use, though it is taking time to transfer everything onto them and onto the apps. We are learning how to utilize them to improve the work.
I got a low-key call to repentance but also some awesome revelation during my sacrament meeting yesterday. I want everybody to exit from reading this and to go read ETHER 12. Check out the strong message dealing with FAITH and evaluate where you are. There are some secret verses on a great deal of people that have witnessed miraculous things or have participated in miraculous acts...... what's holding you back from the same? Just asking? Your faith? I with know man, it's up to you?

I love you all and am so excited for the start of my blackout year as a missionary. Cheers!
