I almost died

August 27th, 2018 15th month, 1st week Thailand, Bangkok, Minburi Ward samuel.montague @myldsmail.net (I would love to hear from you) We have taken some of the responsibilities of the assistant to the president. So this past week has been many times with my companion and I going out with President and Sister Hammond doing training in and around Bangkok. We leave in the early morning and return in the afternoon. Even though we had planned out the training (we have an outline) and we follow the outline for each of the meetings, it's still so different every time. It's been interesting to see how things are different in each of the areas. You think our area would be dying then, as we don't have much time to work in it, and it is probably a little bit. But we're also seeing a lot of miracles from the time that we do have. We are very productive contacting while on the MRT (subway) when we're coming back through. We are teaching when we find and finding wh

We've had a lot of office work that we've had to do, including a lot of unexpected office work. In the little time that we are able to go out and proselyte, we have seen miracles. Miracle such as contacting a whole bunch of people that were actually were super interested. We found over six people on Saturday, within a few hours. We didn't even have the full day. But all of the people that we did talk to, they were all talking about how they wanted to learn, how they wanted to bring their family to learn as well, and some of them were referrals from Members. It was way awesome! On Saturday, after finding all the new people and teaching a few lessons, we had over 20 people say they were possibly going to church, with at least 12 having confirmed it. But 555 if you know

August 12th, 2018 14th month, 3rd week Thailand, Bangkok, Minburi Ward samuel.montague @myldsmail.net (I would love to hear from you) This last Tuesday ended the transfer of me teaching the English class alone for the 6 weeks. Three cheers for Elder Montague! Since then, death has occurred. Not only have I taken the lastest group of missionaries to the airport and sent them off- which consisted of the last two of my companions that were older than me- I have also died a little bit in my sleep schedule this week. And Elder Thornock went up to Chiang Mai! To back it up a little bit, I have gotten ample and stressful use of my driver's license. I have driven back and forth between both of the airports at least once this week. These are typically done at very late or very early times, because the church only purchases inconvenient flights. Which means I also have gotten limited sleep. It was definitely a wild few days, and I was being sustained 80% by prayer. My new comp

Being aware of these conditions and emotions will allow you to respond to what you are feeling in a positive and constructive way." -Safeguards for Using Technology  Wow. Let me you say how true this is. Whenever I experience the above emotions, I am not myself . Particularly last week's Pday, when we woke up early to go to the beach area. Apparently I am an old man, and my body cannot handle not getting enough sleep. I did NOT respond in a positive and constructive way. This also occurs, though not as obviously, when I am "b ored, lonel

August 1st, 2018 14th month, 1st week Thailand, Bangkok, Minburi Ward samuel.montague @myldsmail.net (I would love to hear from you) This is been a very long, exciting week. Sometimes throughout the week I think about my weekly email, in about what I want to share what I want the theme of it to be. Well I don't remember all of them, I remember I came up with a lot this week. During this week I was lifted up, I was humbled, there was a focus on my Savior.  Random addition to my weekly email. So I've had a few stress dreams This week. I used to think my stress dreams always follows whatever I was most stressed about. But on my mission I found that it's not necessarily that. I have the same stress dreams. They are all about school and the homework I didn't do and the terrible grades I know I'm going to have. So if you're curious about what stresses me most, apparently it's not eternal damnation or anything like that. Nay, ya boi fears bad grades mor
