The Lord's Work Won't Be Stopped

May 27th, 2018 1 YEAR, 4 days (bit of a milestone!) Thailand, Bangkok, Minburi Ward samuel.montague @myldsmail.net (I would love to hear from you) What a blast of a week. This has been literally so crazy. I know I've sent this quote from the scriptures before, but I'm going to send it again:  "... I am able to do mine own work"  2 Nephi 27:20 Starting Sunday, my companion had started experiencing some stomach issues and pains.  We got some medicine for him, but it didn't really help. On Tuesday, when we went to district meeting, he were still hurting a lot. We ended up calling the nurse, and get direction to take him to the hospital. And so begins the epic tale of the hospital. After much testing, probing, and IV's, we ended up staying the night at that hospital. The next morning, they wanted to do a CT scan. Our insurance was only reimbursing us at that hospital, and I had been paying upfront but didn't have enough to keep doing more ...

Things Finally Hit

June 4th, 2018 1 year, 1st month Thailand, Bangkok, Minburi Ward samuel.montague @myldsmail.net (I would love to hear from you) President Johnson So very sadly,  on Wednesday  we had our last Zone conference with the Johnsons. In true form, they were amazing, excellent, and we got so much out of it. They have been in my opinion the best Mission presidents who have served on the world. The Hammonds, who are coming in next, have some very big shoes to fill. I am confident that they will do it though. My companion We have some very nicely progressing investigators, and it was awesome to be able to work with them with both missionaries from this companionship. This has been our first full week as a companionship to work in our area together! It was very exciting, and we have seen so many miracles this past week from our investigators progressing.
